Lab Technician

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Laboratory Technician located in Toronto, ON. The Lab technician will be responsible for the the production of custom gene variant libraries, performing laboratory tests and experiments, preparing samples, and maintaining laboratory equipment. They will also perform quality control tests and analysis, interpret laboratory data, and prepare report
Roles and Responsibilities

Experience working with lab equipment and analytical skills

Develop, optimize and conduct molecular biology experiments.

Be proficient in basic recombinant DNA technologies.

Experience with data analysis and interpretation

Report and communicate findings to product development and business development colleagues.

Keeping accurate records of results

Excellent attention to detail and organization skills

Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Represent Ranomics at scientific and academic conferences.

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge with relevant scientific and technical developments.
We are looking for a candidate with:

B.Sc or M.Sc degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology or a related field.

Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills, with great attention to details and lab notebook documentation.

Self-motivated and passionate about biotechnology and innovation.
Compensation
-
$23.50 to $28.00 per hour dependent on education and work experiences.
