Research Associate I - Protein Engineer

We are looking for a brilliant and talented researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development of novel proteins and enzymes using our proprietary high-throughput screening technologies.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Develop and perform high-throughput protein engineering experiments.

Experiment with next generation gene editing and sequencing technologies.

Conduct high-throughput genotyping-phenotyping experiments using the VERG platform

Design and implement novel functional assays that are compatible with the VERG platform

Perform basic bioinformatic analyses and NGS data analysis.

Coordinate with product and business development colleagues to convert scientific knowledge and insights into client facing material.

Record and maintain detailed notes regarding hypotheses, record of results and experimental plans.

Represent Ranomics at scientific and academic conferences.

Generate scientific figures and graphical representation of all experimental results.

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge with relevant scientific and technical developments.

Promote a safe and positive work environment for all team members in the laboratory.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities:

A MSc or PhD degree in molecular biology, genomics, protein engineering or a related field.

Working experience in an industrial setting.

Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with great attention to details and lab notebook documentation.
